"I need to say that this has NOTHING to do with Justin Englebright's office. The office staff has been nothing but helpful, patient and professional. They always answer my questions and listen to me prattle on and complain. They get a 10!! I couldn't find a way to review State Farm as a company. This is pretty much all insurance companies, but I haven't had to file claims with most others. As a corporate entities, they get a score of -10,000,000!! Chalk another win up to businessmen who don't care about people, only about themselves and their money. "I'm a businessman. The word 'decent' doesn't apply to me." Never were truer words spoken than by Taylor Sheridan for his TV show '1923'. In January of this year (2026), my water heater stopped working. It was probably worn out. It had been 10-12 years since we last replaced it. The water heater door was swollen shut from water damage. I had to have the plumbers pry it open. The water heater was leaking, it turned out. They helped me get a loan to replace it. After they put the new one in, we could all still hear running water; but it sounded like it was coming from underneath the house. Upon inspection, it was. All the pipes in the crawlspace were leaking. I had to replace them. Homeowners insurance doesn't pay for that. That put me $10,000 in debt just for the pipes and water heater. I was put a further $10,000 in debt because of family surgeries, dental work and car repairs. New dryer, business classes, etc. The initial bid was accepted by State Farm for water damage to the bathroom and adjoining bedroom because of the leaking pipes. It took forever to get the checks cashed, though, because of failure on the part of the adjuster to tell me my mortgage company would also have to endorse the checks...and they sent them to ME first, instead of the mortgage company. Finally, in May, the restoration work was scheduled to begin. The contractors tore up the floor, only to find that the whole thing is rotted. Upon talking with the adjuster, they said my policy doesn't cover rotted wood. He's talked to his manager. They're both refusing to let him come look at it in person to see if maybe there's something that would be covered. Said it's not necessary. The whole bathroom restoration will be $12,000 something. The insurance paid roughly $4,000. I don't have the money to fix it. The adjuster keeps saying he's "sorry." What a bunch of BS! He's not one bit sorry. I'm completely screwed over, and will never be able to fix my bathroom because of it. I'm pissed!! I can't afford it."

The competitors all quoted lower rates, but when I asked about the coverage, they were well below the coverage amounts that I wanted. Once I gave them the parameters that I wanted, the quotes climbed significantly. Their initial rates were a bait and switch and would not have covered my motorhome and me to the extent that is required for such an investment. Finally when I reached out to State Farm, I was greeted by Lara. She took the time to listen to my needs and requirements before throwing out a low ball come on price. She knew exactly how to handle my needs and her first and only quote was spot on. And best of all, the price as at around 1/2 the price of what the competitors were quoting.
